Binnington Salver Award Relaunched

In 2014 the Binnington Salver Award was relaunched under new guidelines making entry open to all Brethren in the Province, regardless of rank or experience. Papers would be not more than 1500 words (10 to 15 minutes) and the selected paper would be delivered, by the Author, at the Annual Communication of Provincial Grand Lodge, when the Salver is presented.

All submissions receive a Certificate of Merit, and authors of other papers accepted by the reviewing panel may be invited to deliver their paper at a meeting of the Jersey Lodge of Installed Masters.

It is no longer essential that the subject matter be original or academic; the essential criteria are for papers to be informative, stimulating, entertaining and instructive.
